The level of the Caroni River is Friday at 12.45 meters above sea level, according to Ángel Rodríguez, director of civil protection (CP).

In this way, the water fell compared to the 12.50 meters that were recorded in the afternoon of this Thursday. This means, in addition, that the red alert in the municipality has also been reduced.

CP adds that, as of now, 132 houses are affected by the Caroní River and the Orinoco.
