Officials were charged with misappropriation of funds. use, strategic material traffic and association for their alleged involvement in the theft of high-voltage copper guayas of the Arrecifes-Los Magallanes line of the National Electrical System, on the 9th of this month.

The Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) received a call warning against the theft of high-voltage wiring. When the commission reached the La Pica areas of Tacagua Vieja and Nuevo Horizonte de Catia, they saw two National Police patrols with four of the accused, who said that they were on tour and that their units had been wounded. .

They checked that on the back of one of the patrols there were a lot of copper guayas, and they were arrested.

The charge was made by the Prosecutor's Office of the House of Flagrance of Caracas by a GNB commission. The court ordered that the five defendants be detained at the headquarters of the institution in La Yaguara.
