A magnitude 4.4 earthquake was recorded Wednesday morning in the state of Trujillo.
The Venezuelan Foundation for Seismological Research (Funvisis) reported that the telluric movement was recorded nine kilometers southwest of Isnotú, with a depth of 5.0 kilometers.
Regional authorities have not reported any human or material loss.
