Euroamerican Paris Festival will be starred by Venezuelans

From July 20 to July 28, the Euro-American Festival of Post-Contemporary Music created and organized by Venezuelan pianist and composer Sylvia, will be held at different stages of the city of Paris. Constantinidis, with the German composer and stage director Christian Wenzel, with the idea of ​​offering a platform for new music proposals, as well as facilitating the exchange between American and European musicians , which will be dedicated this year to the memory of Professor José Antonio Abreu. This Friday, the inaugural concert will be held in collaboration with the Embassy of Mexico in France.

The stage will be the concert hall of the University City of Paris where the Omorfia Ensemble Chamber Orchestra will be presented, having as director the Venezuelan Yefren Carrero

On Saturday 21st, at the Sirene Hall, will be held a day where soloists and composers born in Venezuela will be the protagonists of the Tutti Maestro orchestra program Art Walkers, a foundation that reproduces the Venezuelan system in France, directed by Yefren Carrero. The program includes the premiere in Paris of the concert for clarinet and orchestra Afflatus by Professor Diana Arismendi, in which Carmen Borregales (first clarinet of the Symphony Simón Bolívar) will be the soloist. The repertoire also includes the work Aurora Borealis by Canadian Evelyn Stroobach, who is also a resident composer of Euroamerican; Tango für Orchestra by German Christian Wenzel; Pantanales by Josefina Benedetti and Fandango by Sylvia Constantinidis

In addition to concerts, the program includes contemporary music workshops for young people to become acquainted with the new techniques of contemporary school, the study of their score and the music. interpretation.
