- Samsung Galaxy S10 "Beyond 2": with 6.2-inch Super AMOLED Panel with Curves and another component more advanced than the previous ones (now we're going to talk about cameras).
The design has not been seen or discussed yet, but Samsung's mobile division CEO, DJ Koh, confirmed at a press conference in front of the Chinese media that the future Galaxy S10 would not be a gradual revival like the Galaxy S9, but what these will be "very significant" changes, in his own words.
What can these changes be? The percentage of use of the screen may be even higher, but remains out of the current. cuts and pulling a hole in the screen. Although it is said that this will be the subject of a creation in front of a medium range with an LCD made by BOE (and not by Samsung itself, although designed by them), the Samsung Galaxy AS8, showing us which seems to have the proper name of Infinity-O.

Of course, we are talking about what it will be the ultrasound reader provided by Qualcomm and not the Synaptics optical solution we saw in previous ones, as was later "confirmed" by Evan Blass, the well-known filter. The difference: that ultrasound would create a 3D model of our fingerprint instead of the photo obtained with the optician.
In terms of aesthetics, there will also be new colors according to some rumors, which speak of the return of a green tone to the style of the one launched with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Here it seems that the competition is now in the number of cameras, as Samsung has already reached the fourth rear camera with the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018).
For the next round of the S10, it looks like the ceiling will stay in place three cameras, although not the three models would integrate it. The first reports indicated that the basic model would have a dual rear camera and a front camera (the "Beyond 0" of those mentioned above, the natural successor of the Galaxy S9), the intermediate model with a triple rear camera and a front camera ( the "Beyond" 1 ", which would happen to the Galaxy S9 +) and the superior with triple rear camera and dual front camera (the" Beyond 2 ").
But last month, the leaks reoriented these possible configurations to a somewhat more specific (and questionable) option. There would be no double and triple camera, but a simple system, a double and a triple respectively.
Thus, the Galaxy S10 standard would have a single 12-megapixel sensor with optical stabilization, and the variable opening (the star of the Galaxy top this year) with f / 1.5 for low light scenarios and f / 2.4 for others. The intermediate S10 would add a second 16-megapixel sensor with a f / 1.9 and 123-degree (wide-angle) aperture lens, to which the top model would add a third 13 megapixel sensor with a f / 2.4 aperture lens and a zoom optical, in addition to a second optical stabilizer.
In this way, Samsung would modify so that the double camera is slow to reach its flagship product when compared to the trajectories of many of its rivals. For now, these are just rumors and leaks, but these are features that make us salivate a bit to be able to say best photos in low light, portrait mode, zoom and wide angle (at least the third).
The first of the new own brain
To date, Samsung has chosen to distribute two variants some of its mobiles based on geography, integrating its own processor and another Qualcomm. There is no evidence that this will change, and we already know what the next brain of the S10 looks like.
The Exynos 9820 is ultimately based on FinPET LPP technology of 8 nanometers (and not 7 nanometers, as it was said), which, according to the manufacturer, assumes an energy saving of 10% compared to its predecessor. It consists of eight 2 + 2 + 4 cores, two clean processors to handle the most intense processing tasks, two Cortex A75 cores (for optimal processing tasks), and four Cortex cores. A55 (for when the energy is not needed or the mobile is at rest).
Although there has been talk of two Neural Processing Units (NPUs), the new processor integrates an NPU. Unit that will be used for recognition of camera images and in augmented reality or virtual reality applications, as well as Bixby.
According to Samsung, the Exynos 9820 shows a 20% improvement in performance with a single core, 40% in terms of energy efficiency and 15% in terms of multi-core performance compared to its predecessor. And in terms of graphics performance, it has a Mali-G76 MP12, with 12 rendering cores and an improvement in graphics power estimated to be 40% higher than that of the Exynos 9810.
Welcome, 5G, goodbye, iris reader
The last thing that was discussed about what we could see in the new Galaxy S layer, is that there would be a fourth model. A "Beyond X" with a 6.7 inch screen (it has not been said that it is curved or not), with six cameras (four rear and two front) and support for 5G, which integrates with the integration of the own Exynos 5100 modem.
That's what the Wall Street Journal was talking about, pointing out that this special edition I would arrive later depending on the operators (from the moment they start offering support for the 5G network) and not in February 2019 as planned for the three we discussed (in the MWC 2019).
