The Electoral Commission of Zimbabwe (CEZ) announced Tuesday the first results of parliamentary seats in the legislative elections held Monday in the African country.

The president of the CEZ, Priscilla Chigumba declared that the names of seven future legislators of the 210 available seats is already known. Six of them were obtained by the members of the Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF), party in power since 1980, and the other seat belongs to the political party of Opposition, the Movement for Democratic Change (CDM).
