The technology giant GMO Internet has highlighted a sustained growth in cryptocurrency mining activity, after the inauguration of its first mining facility at the end of 2017. In May, the company launched the first Bitcoin mining device. in chips of 7 nanometers (nm) of the world, the minor B2.

Now, the company has launched the upgraded version of its Bitcoin miner, which will also have a 7nm ASIC chip as well as several new features. The price of the device will be equal to that of B2, currently exhausted, which began to be sold for $ 1,999 US. In this sense, it can be acquired from this month, but the price will increase monthly depending on demand.

Like its predecessor, the G3 B3 minor has a 7nm chip that supports the extraction of SHA256, in addition to allowing the extraction of Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. This mining model has a hash power greater than 33 TH / s, unlike B2, whose hash power reaches 24 TH / s.

According to the press release of the company, the B3 minor can operate under the same level of hash power as the B2, but it can be set to operate at a higher speed. On the occasion of the announcement, GMO Internet assured:

While we were selling the B2 miner, several customers requested a function to adjust the hash power. Therefore, we are accelerating the planned development of the hash power optimization function, which can set the optimal hash power and power consumption.

The most striking feature of B3, according to GMOs, is that it allows users to define their power consumption and hash power in automatic or manual mode. In this way, users can increase their performance and improve their efficiency optimally.

Orders for this new minor can be made via the GMO website and can be paid in US dollars, Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin. The B3 miner's prices include two power units, but do not cover the shipping data.
