(CNN) – Jael Strauss, a former US Top Top Model competitor, died after a battle with breast cancer, according to an update posted on his official GoFundMe fundraising page.
He was 34 years old.
"Today, we are losing our angel on Earth and she has returned to the spirit world from where she comes from and we know that she will take care of us," says the update. "She will dance to see how we celebrate her life and spread the love that she has experienced daily with a carefree abandon."
Strauss released his fight against stage 4 breast cancer in October.
"It's spread aggressively throughout my body and is incurable," he wrote on Facebook. "With treatment, I could extend my life a little longer than the" few months "that the doctors said I could have, I do not want to die."
She was admitted to the hospital on November 22nd.
Strauss participated in season 8 of "America's Next Top Model" and finished in sixth place.
According to the GoFundMe page, instead of flowers, the family is asking for donations to help pay funeral and medical expenses on hold.
