Miraflores Palace, Caracas.- The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, announced a series of economic adjustments that were to be completed 100 days after the launch of the program of economic recovery, growth and prosperity.
The information provided by the Head of State at the Government Palace in the afternoon of Thursday, 29 December, is detailed below:
- Petro's price is adjusted from 3,600 to 9,000 Bs. As of November 30th.
- As of 1 December, the minimum wage will increase from 1,800 to 4,500 baht.
- The bi-weekly payment to employees of the public administration is included.
- A unique Christmas bonus will be awarded for a total of 2,000 Bs.S through the Patria Carnet.
- On December 15th, the differential of the Christmas bonus will be canceled for the workers and a Child Jesus bond will be awarded via the Hogares de la Patria.
- The third bonus month will be paid to retirees and retirees in Venezuelan cryptocurrency, which is equivalent to an average of Petro = 4,500 Bs.S.
- The subsidy is maintained to private companies in the form of wages.
- The new agreed prices will be announced as of November 30th.
- 20,000 tons of fish will be distributed by local supply and production committees (Clap).
- 750 tons of Christmas food will be distributed at agreed prices.
- 15 million toys will be delivered by local supply and production committees (Clap).
- 35 million clothes and shoes will be sold in the communes, communal councils and fairs
- The new table of obligations for missions and major missions on 1 December is as follows:
- Households of the motherland: one person 800 Bs.S., two persons 1,200 Bs.S., three persons 1,800 Bs.S., four persons 2,400 Bs.S, five persons 3,000 Bs.S and more than six persons 3,600 Bs .S
- Humanized delivery: 2400 Bs.S.
- José Gregorio Hernández: 1,800 Bs
- Chamba Youth: 1.125 Bs
