This is the version of the social network for professionals designed specifically for markets where access to broadband internet is always a challenge

LinkedIn, the world's largest professional social network, which has more than 6 million registered users in Argentina, announced the arrival of LinkedIn Lite application in Spanish.

Established in 2017, LinkedIn Lite was developed for markets where broadband remains a challenge. This version, faster and lighter than the original, includes the main features of LinkedIn as news feed, profile, connections, posts and search for job offers.

Available right now for Android phones, the application occupies less than 1MB, which means a reduction in space of up to 80%. This allows users to continue to interact in the network and search for vacancies in areas of low connectivity or in situations where the device has limited internal memory.

In addition, the application starts up to five times faster, regardless of the smartphone or network on which the user is connected.

The latest statistics published by the Ministry of Modernization of the Nation, point out that Argentina is the third largest mobile market in Latin America (19459004) with 62 million connections and ranks fifth among the countries of the World uses the Internet to check social networks, according to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) .

LinkedIn Lite will be available in more than 60 countries including Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela and can be downloaded from the Play Store.
