Caracas – President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro called health graduates in holistic medicine to implement a plan "to create the most modern and functional health system" for the country.

"I want to do a few days of work, culminating in a big congress to create the plan for the transformation of the Venezuelan health system," he said.

Announced that he will evaluate " with a team of community doctors a comprehensive plan of social protection, in matters of work, salary and housing acquisition ".

He indicated that he wants to carry out "a modernization plan" to improve the health system in the country.

He called the Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, "to strengthen the training of health professionals".

"The doctors of the integral community must form a social movement and choose their delegates to maintain direct communication with me." stressed the president.

On Thursday, the national president attended the graduation ceremony of the doctors Integrales Comunitarios in the Poliedro de Caracas, where he proposed to implement the aforementioned modernization plan in order to improve the systems of health in the country.

In recent weeks, health workers have expressed their dissatisfaction through protests, where they denounce the precarious conditions in which they must work, the lack of supplies to treat patients and the low wages that they have to pay. ;they win.
