Omar López, director of Caribes of Anzoátegui, has been suspended for five games, as decided the board of directors of the Venezuelan League of Professional Baseball.
The Caribes leader was sanctioned for his Nov. 14 actions in the Anzoategui challenge to the Navegantes del Magallanes, staged in Valencia, when Lopez ignored the decision of the main referee of the meeting and led a driving inappropriate. in the context of the LVBP championship, refusing to continue the game, the officials have therefore decreed the package in favor of the local team.

After reviewing the arbitration report and weighing Lopez's argument, the LVBP's board of directors decided to apply a penalty of five (5) suspension games.
Similarly, the league's board of directors imposed on López a fine of fifty tax units, for violation of ordinal 13, article 20 of the code of ethics and discipline of LVBP 2018-2019.
