The economist also explained that the reduction in cash flow of the country is not only due to the decline in production, but also to the decline in the price of its crude.

In 2018, the Venezuelan basket rose on average to 61.79 dollars, far from the 100 dollars estimated by Maduro as the "fair price" of crude oil.
