The planetoid called 2018 LF16, it is 213 meters in diameter, it circulates at 15,13 kilometers per second and the trajectory that it would take in the next century is what alerted the specialists.

According to information from RT in Spanish, the huge celestial body was first seen on June 16, 2017 by NASA's Sentry System reaction propulsion system laboratory, and since then they have begun making predictions about which way to go.

The nearest date to a possible catastrophic collision would be August 8, 2023, but there are also other years in which the risk of lethal impact increases, namely 2024, 2025 and 2117.

Studies have shown that there are 62 possible trajectories in which our planet hinders the asteroid, which would generate a shock likely to devastate the Earth.

In its report, NASA explained that the impact of the star would have a power of 50 megatons, similar to the most powerful nuclear bomb in the world known as Zar Bomb.

Fortunately, the possibility of this brutal shock that would change the life of humanity is almost non-existent since it represents a risk of 0.0000033%.
