At least nine people were injured and a motorcycle was burned as a result of a shooting that took place between Saturday evening and Sunday morning in the Tamigalpa district of Tamanes, without the know the causes.

They were all taken to the Asunción de Juigalpa School Hospital, The Red Cross. The inhabitants of the Tamanes district also helped the wounded.

It was reportedly reported that 11 people had been arrested by Chontales police.

The population, frightened by the shooting, called the police station of the city; a patrol arrived to take care of the case and it was at that moment that the non-commissioned officer Oliver Paniagua García was injured.
