Two men were arrested after being accused of being involved in rapes of 40 men by a woman for four days.
Police arrested the owner and manager of a guest house in India and three officers were "suspended for negligence and for not informing their superiors of this sensitive case."
The woman, 22, explained in her complaint that an acquaintance had promised her a job in the guest house. But, apparently, she has been detained, drugged and raped by different men, said chief agent Rajendar Kumar Meena.
In India, nearly 110 rapes a day are reported, according to official figures. Between 2014 and 2016, about 110,333 cases of rape were reported in the country. On the other hand, this week, seventeen men suspected of raping an 11-year-old girl for weeks were arrested in the south of the country.
