Panama A goes for the pass at the World Series

With a solid mixed work between Bryan Villarreal and Adán Sánchez, the Panama A team qualified for the final of the Latin American series of baseball for children in beating his counterpart of Panama B on Friday. 2 races to 0, in a match organized in the facilities of MVP Complex of the capital

Panama A, represented by the League Vacamonte, waits the winner of the other semi-final (Venezuela-Nicaragua) to play this Saturday in the morning for the regional title and to further win the right to go to the Williamsport World Series, as part of the Little League program.

This Friday was a shootout duel between starters Bryan Villarreal, for Panama A, and Adrián Barragán, of Panama B (Aguadulce League).

Villarreal worked five episodes by tolerating a single eight prescriptible and unstoppable withdrawals. For his part, Barragán worked 5.2 innings of five hits and nine fans.

Adán Sánchez released the last episode to seal the triumph of those led by Elpidio Pinto.

Vacamonte's troop built a race in the second and third round to make a difference in the showdown.

On the offensive the best of Panama A were Adán Sánchez, who went 3-2; Arod McKenzie, 2-1; and Bryan Villarreal 2-1. The only irresistible player of Panama B was Luis Escudero, author of a score of 3 to 1.

After the match, manager Pinto said to be in this final and stay a step away from the World Series in Williamsport (United States) it is everyone's dream and it is the first time that the western sector is close to achieving it.

"It's a step, let's go game by game," said Pinto in statements on public television SERTV .

The Little League tournament is aimed at the champion team and this children's category is for players aged 11 to 12 years old

The Williamsport World Series will be played at the mid August.
