Four Bolivian National Police (PNB) officials were injured on Tuesday by an individual who operated a fragmentary grenade at the checkpoint of the intercommunal avenue in El Valle, Caracas.
Román Camacho, a journalist specializing in the incident, said the person who had used the explosive had driven a motorcycle and after an inspection, the man had detonated the grenade.
The wounded suffered a polytrauma caused by splinters. The blast hit two civilians and the policeman, Darwin Verdi, lost his left hand during the event.
