For this 22º Lima Film Festival, s e selected seven feature films and several short films made in the provinces of Peru as: Rincon de los inocentes, the missing Palito Ortega, or the Wiñaypacha applauded, Óscar Catacora.

According to Muhletaler, this edition of the festival will seek to have better access to the public. This is why the Cineplanet Alcázar in San Isidro was chosen to occupy five rooms because of the public influx that has this cinema.
