Russia launched the and Soyuz-2-1 cohet from the Baikonur Space Base to Freighter Progress MS-09 at the International Space Station (ISS).
The freighter carries 2.5 tons of fuel, food and other supplies necessary for the operation of the space base.
One of the most important items is the Orlan-MKS Spatial Suit that crew members must use during spacewalks. The limentos that are brought to the station include a variety of fish dishes and snacks, a representative of the Institute of Medical and Biological Space Flight Problems reported to Russian media.

The launch took place at 00:51 Moscow time on July 10 (21:51 GMT on July 9) and will remain there until January next.
The Soyuz-2 rocket consists of three floors. Four first-stage engines powered by kerosene took off from the Soyuz rocket about two minutes after take-off, and the fairing that covers the Progress supply vessel was broken shortly after.
The freighter is located on the flight path to the ISS after being separated from the third stage of the carrier rocket.
This mission consists of a launch of the 70th relay of Russian progress to the ISS, and the second of this year.
