Lorent Saleh's mother, Yamlieh Saleh Rojas, said Sunday that she could see her son at Sebin headquarters in El Helicoide. The Venezuelan political prisoner received his 30th birthday in detention
Rojas Saleh thanked all those who were waiting for Lorent. He stressed that he is well, serene and calm. He pointed out that his visit was uncomfortable because of the monitoring in place.
"I want to thank everyone who has looked at my son and the difficult situation we are living in. Today, I was able to see him and share with him," he wrote on his Twitter.
Saleh was expelled to Venezuela by the Colombian government in 2014. The human rights activist was handed over to Sebin officials in San Cristóbal.
