The Copa Libertadores final between River and Boca will take place in Madrid: media

The second leg of the Copa Libertadores final between River Plate and Boca Juniors will be played at Real Madrid Stadium on Sunday (December 9th), according to Argentine and Spanish press reports. The Spanish sports newspaper Marca, the Argentine newspaper La Nación and the sports networks ESPN and TyCSports have announced that the historic match will be played in Santiago Bernabéu

The Conmebol announced Tuesday that, for security reasons, Argentina would not organize the match. Boca asked to be declared the winner because of the attack sustained on Saturday by his players on the bus by the River fans, while they were near the Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires.

The Conmebol Disciplinary Tribunal could be set up later on Thursday and a favorable decision in Boca could cancel the meeting. The Conmebol, which had set 8 or 9 December as the date on which River and Boca would be measured again, did not confirm the information.
