On Sunday, opposition leaders denounced the arrest of lawyer Alfredo Coronil Hartmann, a member of the Advisory Council of the Soy Venezuela Movement.
Maria Corina Machado, National Sales Coordinator Venezuela, explained that the arrest had been made by officials of the Service. Bolivariano de Inteligencia Nacional (Sebin).
"Sebin arrests Alfredo Coronil Hartman, a member of the Soy Venezuela Advisory Council on the eastern route to Caracas and they transfer it without explanation to La Yaguara," Machado explained.
For his part, Antonio Ledezma, former mayor of Caracas, described the fact as arbitrary and said that the action shows the government's intention to sow terror among the citizens.
"The arbitrary detention of Coronil Hartmann confirms the despair of the dictatorship, which seeks to terrorize the public so that it represses its rejection of this barbarity that plunges Venezuela into the most terrible tragedy of its history," he commented on his Twitter account
