The police found the body of a woman buried on land in front of her home in the state of Vargas. The woman was identified as 23-year-old Dayren Yoely Naveda Sánchez.
Authorities said that the author of the facts had been identified as Eduardo Arturo Carrera Carrera, 44, and former partner of the victim, reported La Verdad.
Sanchez's parents explained that the woman had disappeared last Thursday and so decided to call the police.
"They had three different months, and although she sometimes went out to make a purchase, she had never been lost so long.Many of us asked her the father of her children and he said that he was working in a family home or bachaqueando, and even, he told one of the girl's friends that he was planning to visit Colombia, "said a neighbor.
Officials said Carrera suffocated the victim until death.
