The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced that he will announce Friday the new agreed prices for food products, medicines and personal hygiene products.
"The series of discussions took place, a direct dialogue with all entrepreneurs from the sectors of food, agri-food, personal hygiene and medicines, this is done with patience and we agreed new prices with all these sectors that will be announced tomorrow and executed directly by the Vice President of Economy, "he said.
He asked Venezuelans to defend these awards and businessmen respect them. He also stated that they had put in place mechanisms to adjust prices.
The statements were made in front of the Miraflores Palace during a meeting with the government team responsible for a hundred days of economic stimulus, growth and prosperity program.
