The Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) on Tuesday declared null and void the November 12 student election at the University of Carabobo (UC).

The entity ordered to guarantee the effective taking of the post and the immediate exercise of the duties of the candidate Jessica Bello, who, according to the agency, "was elected president of the Federation of Centers university ".

The TSJ also asserted that an investigation would be conducted into the alleged crimes committed during the election process of student representatives at the Federation of University Centers held on November 14, 2018 at the UC.

He added that the constitutional action in amparo against Luis Eduardo León, a member of the FCU, was declared appropriate because it "has committed the usurpation of the functions of the Student Electoral Commission. , as a collegial body, in the electoral process of representatives ".
