On Tuesday, the Federation of Associations of University Teachers of Venezuela (Fapuv) announced the extension of national unemployment of universities.
Through his Twitter account, the organization explained that the cessation of activities would last another 24 hours. On the other hand, the Association of Teachers of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) said not to support the call for an indefinite strike.
Last Thursday, the Federation began a 48-hour strike to demand salary improvements, supported by the National Federation of Trade Unions Professional Occupations.
