The White House demanded Monday "fair, free and transparent elections" for the restoration of democracy in Nicaragua, and opened the door to more sanctions against the regime's officials of President Daniel Ortega if it does not stop "Blind" violence and 295 deaths, according to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR).
