Nicolás Maduro, President of the Republic, announced Thursday that he would continue to pay the salaries of the private company. The President explained that the purpose of the decision is to avoid the indiscriminate increase in product prices.
"We continue to pay these salaries, so no one has any excuses for raising prices," Maduro said.
The announcement was made during a joint broadcast on the radio and television of the Miraflores Palace.
