Venezuelan athlete Yulimar Rojas, Olympic medalist and world indoor champion, will receive the Ace of Sports 2018 award in its version for America on December 10 in Madrid, Spain.
The award recognizes active athletes who have excelled this year in the different disciplines. However, in this edition, they will only reward female athletes.
The other winners will be motorcyclist Ana Carrasco, Gisela Pulido who practices kitesurf, Karateka Sandra Sánchez, weightlifter Lydia Valentín, the Spanish basketball team and Atlético de Madrid.
