Verizon Motorola Razr and Motorola One Vision Appear on Bluetooth SIG

Motorola is reviving the iconic Moto Razr and will present it as its first collapsible smartphone against competitors such as the Galaxy Fold, which will arrive later this month, the Huawei Mate X, to be released later this summer, or even folding the smartphone. A few months ago, the company hinted that its intention to launch a foldable smartphone is imminent compared to its competitors offering similar concepts without further details. Motorola did not release any additional information, but a new logo stating the nickname "razr", which we had previously encountered before, was dropped from name – and thus confirmed – in a group certification. A list on the Launch Studio platform, managed by the Bluetooth Certification Body, confirms that the revitalized valve will call "motorola razr" and will feature Bluetooth 5.0. This is the first time that one of the official sources quotes the name of the smartphone. According to information provided by the editor of XDA, Mishaal Rahman, the Motorola Razr should be launched exclusively by Verizon in the United States, although it could be launched later in other regions.

In the previous leak, Mishaal had also revealed that the Motorola Razr would run on the Snapdragon 710 platform with options ranging from 4GB to 6GB of RAM, as well as from 64GB to 128GB of integrated storage. Apart from that, the Motorola Razr will feature two screens, one larger, one inside, and a smaller one on the outside. When the Razr is deployed, the outdoor display acts as a trackpad and interface for quick settings, quick selfies, and interactions with the Google Assistant when the phone is folded.

The main screen is probably a 6.2-inch-high OLED display and a resolution of 876 × 2142. Meanwhile, the secondary display will have a resolution of 600 × 800, although its size is not yet confirmed.

Motorola One Vision follows suit

In addition to the highly anticipated Motorola Razr, the Bluetooth SIG has also certified five different variants of the Motorola One Vision, the future Motorola smartphone with Android One, two cameras and a Samsung Exynos 9610 chipset. Among these five different models, there are two variants to dual SIM card and a single-card version for Latin America – to be assigned to different variants of RAM and storage previously revealed by XDA -, while a dual-SIM model is to be launched in China . Apart from that, there is another model with a "super row" – apparently a non-hybrid SIM tray – and we can expect it to be launched in markets like the United States, India and Europe (we are not yet confirmed on this.).
