NEW YORK (WABC) – A wireless network failure at Verizon has hit "a ton of" customers who have been trying to send SMS on the East Coast for most of the morning.
"Our technicians are well aware that many customers are concerned," Verizon Wireless technical support said.
Verizon reported that the problem was resolved around 10:30.
Some customers who have continued to report issues have been prompted to restart their phones.
