Very rare iPod originally in a factory sealed box Hit eBay for $ 19,995

If you missed the opportunity to buy the original iPod nearly 18 years ago, it's now your second chance – but it will not be cheap.

A very rare first-generation iPod factory, sealed in its "unopened original box" in "unopened original shrink film", surfaced in a new eBay list with a price sales of 19,995 USD, 50 times more than the 399 USD that it had cost unveiled by the late Steve Jobs in October 2001.

Jobs launched the original iPod by offering "1,000 songs in your pocket". This iconic device includes a 5GB hard drive, a two-inch grayscale LCD, up to 10 hours of battery life, a FireWire port and a scroll wheel for "one-handed navigation". Its 0.75 inch thickness was thin at the time.

It's hard to say exactly how many original factory-sealed iPods still exist, but there are probably not many of them and they are rarely on sale. When they do, they often get large amounts, with the price of $ 19,995 corresponding to this ad, which corresponds to an original iPod that would have been sold $ 20,000 on eBay in 2014.
