Victoria's Secret plans to close dozens of stores this year.
The parent company of the giant lingerie retailer announced the closure of 53 stores in North America.
In recent years, sales have fallen and the brand has struggled to meet the changing demands of consumers.
The company cites a drop in overall performance as the main reason for the closure of stores.
The planned closures in 2019 represent approximately 4% of the Company's 1,143 Victoria's Secret stores worldwide.
It has not been announced which stores will be closed.
On the central coast, you'll find Victoria's Secret stores in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara.
