Philadelphia sports fans are a notoriously grumpy band, Bruce Willis appearing to be the object of their disdain before the Phillies match against the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday.
When Willis canceled the first ceremonial launch in front of Aaron Nola, the crowd of Citizens Bank Park let the actor hear about it:

Bruce Willis threw the first pitch in the Phillies game tonight. He bounced back.
The faithful of Philadelphia have reserved a "warm" welcome. https://t.co/EQlBAglbIi
If you want to be charitable towards the Phillies fans, it would not be unreasonable to suggest that they chant "Bruuuuuce" after the launch.
But considering Bryce Harper heard hoots in his first home game with the Phillies, giving them the benefit of the doubt is difficult.
Of course, Willis did not help himself by bouncing the pitch while he was not even standing on the mound. Despite its disadvantages, Willis can rest assured that his first pitch was not so bad as it was the worst in MLB history.
