Live from New York, it's the BTS! The K-pop band, which is at the top of the charts, has Saturday Night Live debut this weekend in support of his new album, Card of the soul: Persona, which fell on April 12.
The group of boys made their first appearance on the episode of Emma Stone shortly after midnight. The first part was a performance of the band's latest single, "Boy With Luv". It was followed by another pleasure for the public, "Mic Drop".
Formed in South Korea in 2013, BTS – which includes members Jin, J-Hope, RM, Suga, Jimin, V and Jungkook – debuted on American television in November 2017 at the American Music Awards (see here) . The group will soon begin the North American part of its worldwide "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself" tour, which begins Saturday, May 4 with a two-night stint at Los Angeles' famous Rose Bowl.
SNLThe 44th season hosted an eclectic group of musical guests including, but certainly not limited to: Kanye West, Travis Scott, Paul Simon, Maggie Rogers, Ella Mai, Mumford & Sons, Sara Bareilles and Halsey and musical act). BTS will be followed by Shawn Mendes, who is ready to perform when SNL Adam Sandler, host (for the first time!) May 4th.
