MIAMI – A giant video screen collapsed at a stadium in South Florida on Thursday, a day before the Rolling Loud hip-hop music festival began. There were no injuries.

Organizers posted on Twitter that the screen had flipped over on one of the festival stages at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, but it needed to be fixed before the gates opened on Friday.

News footage of helicopters shows a large pile of downed scaffolding and other equipment beside one of the scenes.

Like many other events, Rolling Loud was canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Originally scheduled for May 2020, the event has been rescheduled several times. This weekend’s lineup includes A $ AP Rocky, Travis Scott and Post Malone.
