JAMMU LINKS NEWS | A video of activists interviewing a Special Police Officer (SPO), who was seriously injured by ultras in the Pulwama district, became viral on social media.
SPO Aqib Wagay was shot in both legs by militants in Puchal village in southern Kashmir on Tuesday, leaving him with serious injuries. The video was shot before being shot.
The 1.23 minute video shows that he was interrogated by activists for being involved in the supply of alcohol to the villages of the army camp.
Immediately after being shot, Wagay was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment, from where he was referred to Base 92 hospital for specialized treatment.
A police official said Wagay was recovering at the hospital but his leg had been amputated to save his life.
