Conor McGregor was arrested Monday night for an alleged incident involving a fan at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel. The UFC star was charged with "charge of armed robbery and a criminal wrongdoer valued at $ 1,000 or more".
The two charges combined for a $ 12,500 bond, which McGregor posted. He was not to spend the night in jail and left shortly after payment, in the presence of local media.

The McGregor team issued a statement following the arrest, pledging to cooperate fully during the proceedings.
The incident was allegedly filmed by a surveillance video, but this footage, along with any other evidence, will not be made public "until prosecutors hand it over to the defense sometime after the trial. 21 days after his arrest ".
McGregor had just completed his community service sanctioned after his arrest in New York in 2018. He pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and avoided the jail of this incident.
