Video: What Happened After the WWE NXT: Vengeance Day Takeover

WWE NXT Champion Finn Balor and Kyle O’Reilly had words after last night’s NXT “Takeover: Vengeance Day” event was disrupted on the WWE Network.

As noted, Takeover came to an end after Adam Cole turned on Kyle O’Reilly with a superkick and also took out Balor with a superkick. This follows Balor’s victory in the main event over Pete Dunne and The Undisputed Era, saving Balor from a triple-team Dunne and NXT tag team champions Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch. The takeover was halted with Roderick Strong acting in conflict between Cole and O’Reilly, while Balor and O’Reilly were laid out next to each other in the ring.

WWE has released the following footage after Balor and O’Reilly took over following their recovery of Cole’s superkicks. Balor noted that he wasn’t sure he was confident in the situation. He also warned his former rival to be careful, adding that he wasn’t cleaning up O’Reilly’s mess. Balor then made his exit and O’Reilly was not far behind.

It’s unclear what WWE has in store for Balor and the members of The Undisputed Era, but we’ll keep you posted. Below are the post-takeover images of Balor and O’Reilly:
