Police said that around 3:15 pm on Tuesday, the suspect approached and took a 4-year-old child to a McDonald's located at 1310 East Olympic Boulevard at L.A.
The suspect attempted to enter a vehicle parked with the child but was stopped by a witness. The suspect then fled the area.

On Wednesday, at about 11:15 am, an attempt to kidnap a 4 year old boy occurred on Martin Luther King Boulevard and San Pedro Street, also in Los Angeles.
The suspect approached the child, pulled his hand and attempted to go with the victim. The boy was walking next to a family member when the attempted kidnapping took place, police said.
The suspect was arrested by a witness in the area and escaped.
The suspect is described as a black or Hispanic woman aged 25 to 30 with black hair and unknown colored eyes. She is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 115 pounds. The suspect has a scar or birthmark on the forehead, an unknown tattoo above the left breast and an unknown tattoo on the upper back and on the left shoulder.
The detectives are investigating to determine if the two incidents are related.
