Could the Vikings add another weapon to their attack in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft?
Daniel Jeremiah thinks so.
In his latest simulation project, Jeremiah asks the Vikings to pick Alabama wide receiver and Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith.
Here is what Jeremiah wrote about the choice:
The Vikings have some holes to fill in defense, but they could give Kirk Cousins one hell of a line by adding Smith to a receiving corps that already includes Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen.
It seems unlikely, given the Vikings need a lot of help on the offensive line and the defensive end of the ball, but hey, that would definitely be exciting.
As a senior, Smith finished with 117 catches for 1,856 yards and 23 touchdowns.
