These are difficult times for Cher Horowitz. Sorry, Villanelle.
The show has taught us to think that she is stronger and smarter than almost
the other, and it's a shock to see her fight two
different opponents bigger and stronger. And while one of these interactions ends
with the result we expect, the other recalls that Villanelle has
many more concerns than whether Eve takes her phone calls or not.

The secondary plot with Creepy Julian is quite similar to a
traditional horror film. But the slowly growing threat of household
Villanelle is in an unusual fit for the character. So often, you
do not really believe that something will really happen to him. There is very
a few rooms where she is not the most scary person. Let the Kill Eve request
the question, what if the main character of your horror movie is also a
serial killer? Villanelle herself seems somewhat perplexed by the situation. Right here
she is, just trying to convince a credulous man from the supermarket, and it turns out
to be much more dangerous than expected.

It's a nasty little trick in the way this situation would unfold
for an ordinary woman, with Julian showing more and more paranoid behaviors
before taking it to her and prove that he was paying a lot more attention to
What was happening with Villanelle? Yet once she tells

is she really telling him that it's exactly what he has. A

recognizable moral frame, but it's hard not to see her thinking Julian
deserved this one.

Eve, meanwhile, strives to make everyone understand
no one with whom she interacts, she is still completely obsessed with Villanelle.
The only thing she does to convince them otherwise is to act very suspiciously with Kenny. Does she make the right choice by trusting him? His
Hard to say – so far, we do not know much about what Kenny thinks about his mother.
He seems quite capable of keeping secrets, since he says nothing to Eve
Konstantin in front of his mother reveals that the man stays at home.
Just a thought, but it's possible that Kenny needs to find his own
in law. There is something about the costume in shorts in this scene that makes him look even younger.

On the other hand, Eve demonstrates that she is really good
to what she does, and not just a complete fangirl Villanelle. She is coming up
with a nice fit profile of their new killer. And everyone caught the
related ghost references? Eve and her team call the new killer the ghost, Eve

Villanelle tells Creepy Julian that she hates ghosts. Their styles, like Eve
points out, are very, very different. Villanelle has no desire to maintain a
low profile, while the ghost will stay hidden much longer thanks to it
unadorned style. The real question is whether they have the same or not
the employer, who did not so kindly accept, welcomed Villanelle to his post.
His new handler certainly does not have the charm of Konstantin.

All adds to the suggestion that we will see a
Villanelle very different this season. She is weak, disadvantaged, unprepared
for the threats she faces. The moment of his escape from Julian's house also
suggests the possibility of a very different result if Eve had managed to
arrive a few minutes earlier. Will Eve have to save Villanelle?
some time this season?

Observations lost

  • Nothing will ever beat "sorry, baby," but it's always a headache when these two leave each other scary messages. I wish
they could have told us in another way that to have Eve literally Google
"Apple, Eve." What did she think she had in the world? And why did she have
cool art and when I did it I had apple juice ads?
  • The power structure on this show is often resolutely
woman, between Eve, Villanelle and Carolyn, but this episode seemed very
determined to remind us that men are always a danger to these women.
  • So, Emerald Fennell is a big No idea fan, huh?
  • Has anyone ever wanted a "bottie hottie"?
  • I liked that Julian's mother escaped at the end.
  • It was a writing weak enough to explain Elena's behavior.
absence, since in season 1, she seems to be pretty close to Eve and is in the process of bonding with Kenny. Eve barely reacts!
  • So which of the two children of this rich guy ordered his murder?
  • The end of the episode is shot as a cliffhanger, but
Does any one think that Konstantin was dead?
