Vincent Jackson Death Report, NFL star likely died days before cops found him

Vincent jackson probably died on or before February 13 – two days before it was discovered by law enforcement – according to a new death report, obtained by TMZ Sports.

The former NFL star was pronounced dead on February 15 after hotel staff contacted police about an unresponsive man in a room at Homewood Suites in Brandon, Florida.

The cops had investigated and now say hotel staff saw Jackson in the same room – in the same slumped position – as early as February 13 … but they assumed he was asleep.

But, on February 15, a cleaning lady began to realize the grim reality – Jackson was not resting, he was dead – and someone at the hotel called 911.

When the cops arrived at the scene, they confirmed Jackson was dead.

As for the visible injuries, the cops say he had a small laceration on his left big toe – but that’s it.

The death report also notes that Jackson had a history of alcohol use, but was not a known drug user.

As previously reported, the Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad chronister announced earlier this week that Jackson was likely deceased as a result of problems with “chronic alcoholism. “

Jackson had been living at the Homewood Suites hotel since January … and his family had become concerned about himself by filing a missing person report on February 11.

The cops contacted him at the hotel on February 12, but determined he was fine. Unfortunately, he was not doing well and apparently died a few hours later.
