For guests wishing to live outdoors Star wars adventures and access Star wars: Galaxy's Edge starting Aug. 29, Disney's Hollywood Studios will be able to use a virtual queue system, as needed, to give everyone an unforgettable experience. In practice, it should be the same system as the one set up at Disneyland, but rarely used after the crowd has not manifested itself.
Customers who have not yet downloaded My Disney Experience before arriving and checking the app or signage the day of their visit to find out if you will be part of a boarding group to visit Star wars: Galaxy's Edge that day. The boarding group will save you a virtual point online so you can enjoy other experiences while waiting to be informed of the time you are attending.
You can use My Disney Experience to apply to be part of a boarding party after entering Disney Studios Hollywood if it is installed that day. Simply connect the amusement park tickets of all members of your group to the application to request the same boarding party for your entire group. To find out which boarding group is currently allowed in the territory, check out the application or one of the many digital billboards of the park.
If you enable push notifications on your mobile device, you will be notified when it is time to enter the territory. Otherwise, keep checking out the My Disney Experience application or digital signage in the park and enjoy other experiences while waiting for your boarding party. You have up to two hours to enter the territory after the call of your boarding party.
For guests who do not use My Disney Experience, a boarding party can be obtained with a park entrance ticket at venues such as: Echo Lake (right in front of the Jedi Path entrance), Pixar Square (near the entrance of Toy Story Earth), Sunset Boulevard (near the Tower of Terror) and the center of the stage (near the statue of Cameraman.)
