After a year without any Marvel movies, 2021 has been more than generous for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. To date, fans have secured two feature films and four shows on Disney +. Now that it’s officially October, there is still at least one series and two more films left by the end of the year. One of them is Spider-Man: No Way Home, one of the most publicized superhero movies of all time.

In typical Marvel fashion, little is known about Certainly not Home other than the fact that it will have ramifications across the multiverse. As such, fans were eager to find out all they could about the film, and this is something that led to several leaks from the film.

One, in particular, shows the return of Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker fully dressed in his Marc Webb Spider-Man costume. The Incredible Spider-Man franchise, though Garfield himself vehemently denies he’s in the movie. Fans have argued over whether the alleged leak is legitimate or not, and a popular group of visual effects artists have now posted their thoughts on why the leak might be the real deal.

Popular YouTubers Corridor Crew broke down the leak in a new video to their five million million followers. In it, they highlight the various reasons why the leak is more than likely real. As the team points out, the initial video that circulated was likely from the same type of camera that Hollywood teams use due to the depth of field and setup of the clip.

A significant portion of the video is devoted to explaining why the leak couldn’t be a deep fake, with Corridor Crew pointing out that hair is rarely rigged due to the difficulty, even considering today’s technology.

You can see the breakdown of the suspected leak above.

Spider-Man: No Path Home is scheduled for December 17th. What other characters in the Spidey family do you think will end up appearing in the next feature film?
