Vlad Jr. hits a ball on a minor league ball, almost like he was too good to play in them

Fighting the Buffalo AAA Bisons on Wednesday night, Vlad Guerrero Jr. crashed a poor baseball out of the minor league stage at Pawtucket. And if the Toronto Blue Jays make sense, Guerrero will also be leaving the minor league parks very soon.

Just listen to the violent attack Vlad's bat makes as soon as she finds contact. He is a major-leaguer cracker, and no one can say the opposite in good faith.

Guerrero only played a few games in AAA this season, after a tense dive that kept him out of the lineup, but he showed no signs of injury on his return. It was his second scorer in five games and, from his fourth game tonight, he hit .42.

Yet the only indications given by the Jays about Guerrero's call are very vague. Last week, Toronto director Ross Atkins said of his potential MLB debut: "We think it's sooner rather than later."

"He needs attacks," said Charlie Montoyo, coach of the Jays, after Guerrero doubled and disheveled in his first AAA match of the year. "I do not know how many others."

Maybe the bats tonight were enough.
