WAFB Special Report on the Death of Beloved Anchor Donna Britt

In eighth grade, an outstanding Bible teacher in Donna’s life shared with her how God had inspired her to sign her name in lowercase, an act of humility and a promise to always push for success in everything. Donna adapted the same promise and always signed her name with lowercase letters, which she called a sign of continued commitment to “serve God in the most enthusiastic and excellent way possible.” Over the years, Donna has supported many charities, including those related to research into ALS, sickle cell disease, HIV / AIDS and cancer. A breast cancer survivor, she was also very active in fundraising for breast cancer.
