One of the last Black Friday dominoes finally fell. This year’s Walmart Black Friday ad was revealed with some of the best deals of 2020. Walmart is making a major effort to narrow down a wide selection of Apple products, setting the tone for other retailers. This includes Apple Watch, AirPods, and iPads. Walmart is also looking to be one of the few retailers to guarantee a selection of Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles on D-Day. Walmart plans big Black Friday sale online and in-store
This year’s Walmart Black Friday sale kicks off Wednesday, November 25 at 7 p.m. online with a slew of rotating offers across a range of categories. Instead of offering more traditional doors, Walmart should roll out timed offers at different times of the week.
Walmart stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day this year.
Best Walmart Black Friday 2020 deals
The headliner of this year’s Walmart Black Friday is the Apple Watch Series 3 priced at $ 119. You may remember that in 2019 this was one of the most sought after Thanksgiving Week offers, which sold out almost instantly time and time again over a period of days. Will Walmart have more stock available this year? At this point anyone can guess what the situation will be, but expect Series 3 to $ 119 be another hot item. Last time around, Amazon didn’t match the prices, so that’s another wild card in the mix.
Another highlight of this year’s Walmart Black Friday ad is AirPods Pro. $ 169. That’s a savings of $ 130 over the going rate and a price that would easily mark a new all-time low. For comparison, we’ve more recently seen it hover around $ 199 before Black Friday. This is certainly a popular item, but at a price that should be matched at various retailers.
On the Google side, we expect Chromecast V2 and Nest Home Mini to be available for $ 18.98 each, which is down from the regular price of $ 49. Nest Hub will also get a Black Friday discount at $ 49.98 during this sale also.
Walmart is also expected to carry additional inventory on the latest next-gen consoles from Microsoft and Sony. Both the X Series and PlayStation 5 should be available at some point in the week, but if pre-orders so far have shown us anything, it’s that these listings will be a very popular item throughout Thanksgiving week.
