BENTONVILLE, Ark. (AP) – Walmart has announced additional plans for its new 350-acre (142-hectare) campus in northwestern Arkansas, which will include four quadrants connected by bike paths and walking trails, a crib on campus and a fitness center.

The world's largest retailer announced Friday that new buildings would be designed and built over the next two years, with the goal of opening the site in stages between 2020 and 2024.

The new site is located a few blocks from the current Bentonville Home Office, built in 1971.

Walmart says its new head office will include solar panels on some buildings and parking lots. There will also be "flexible workspaces" and various catering options.

Walmart has announced the relocation of its headquarters in 2017. It has not specified how much it would cost to replace the old office.
